Rafz, Switzerland-based Alfa Klebstoffe AG, parent of industry supplier Simalfa, is expanding the company’s management team with the appointment of Andri Simmler as co-chief sales officer, Reto Bisang as chief financial officer and Florian Mack as chief information officer/chief data officer.
According to a news release, these three new additions to the management team aim to bring fresh ideas and ambitious goals to the family-run Swiss company. Co-Chief Sales Officer Andri Simmler and Chief Operating Officer Christian Bänninger are the third generation of the founding family to take management positions and carry on the vision of company founder Emil Simmler to create environmentally friendly, innovative adhesives.
“The future belongs to companies which actively shape innovation and set standards. Our expanded management team boasts precisely the expertise and dynamic needed to continue positioning Simalfa as a benchmark for sustainable adhesive solutions on the international level,” CEO Thomas Simmler said.
Outgoing Chief Financial Officer Maya Bänninger is also retiring after 40 years with the firm and was celebrated at a party with the company’s employees.
The management team now includes CEO Thomas Simmler; Chief Operating Officer Christian Bänninger; Co-Chief Sales Officer Andri Simmler; Chief Financial Officer Reto Bisang; Chief Information Officer/Chief Data Officer Florian Mack; and Managing Director Asia-Pacific Jochen Schanbacher, the news release said.
