Flex Bedding Group, E.S. Kluft Launch Joint Venture with DeRucci in China

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Flex Bedding Group, a global sleep manufacturer, and its North American subsidiary E.S. Kluft & Co., have formed a joint venture with DeRucci Healthy Sleep Co. Ltd, one of the largest sleep systems companies in China. The partnership, formalized on May 15, 2025, will operate as Luxurious Sleep (Dongguan) Co. Ltd., with headquarters in Dongguan, China. 

“By integrating the best of Eastern and Western craftsmanship and innovation, Luxurious Sleep (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. is dedicated to delivering world-class sleep products and services for Chinese consumers pursuing a high-end, healthy sleep lifestyle. For the Flex Group and E.S. Kluft, this represents a landmark in our international footprint development,” said Rafael Gonzalez, CEO of Madrid-based Flex Bedding Group.

According to a news release, the joint venture aims to expand E.S. Kluft’s Aireloom and Kluft brands, which have been sold in China for the past decade.. Under the agreement, E.S. Kluft will supply mattresses to Luxurious Sleep (Dongguan) Co. Ltd., which will oversee retail distribution and marketing. Aireloom products will be produced locally at a new facility in China, while U.S.-made Kluft and Chinese-built Aireloom models will be sold through mono-brand stores, premium home retailers and luxury malls in major Chinese cities.

Kluft & Co., based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. “With this partnership, DeRucci has the opportunity to tap into the ultra-premium and luxury mattress market by leveraging our craftsmanship and industry expertise. At the same time, we benefit from their deep understanding of the Chinese consumer market. We believe our combined strengths position us well for success.”
